The Women of the World are STRONG! Battling with emotional conflict and religious heritage, women have continued to understand that they should have equal rights in this world, even when they were trained to abandon all such hopes from childhood and by their own mothers at times. But there have been a few women who have stood out among the rest as those who were willing to suffer for what they believed in; those who were willing to "disobey" their husbands and fathers; those who have continued ardently in pursuit of freedom and equality as they recognized that there was absolutely no reason that they ought to be treated as inferior beings.
Recognizing our strengths and building upon them, joining together as a unified front of women, ready to support one another and develop a world that is filled with more compassion, less bitterness and hatred: GENDER EQUALITY - Touching on the possibility that we are capable of joining alongside the men as partners in running our world - All of this is a mission of action which will make a better world for our children and grandchildren, both male and female. Men are trained to objectify women, both in the media, in the schools, in the workplace and most everywhere they go. We can start training the world to stop the objectification. We can stand up and refuse to join in as supporters of this objectification by refusing to entertain this in the media, in our personal lives and in our children's lives. We can prove that we deserve the respect of gender equality by letting go of the jealousies and bitterness that have naturally sprouted as a result of the male-lead world in which we live, but which can be conquered and destroyed with a large-scale paradigm shift that requires each one of us to contribute our share in making this world that is free for all. We have a great deal more power than we give ourselves credit for. The influence that we as women have is tremendous. We run households, businesses, raise children, work in the majority of organizations around the world. We volunteer. We develop. We create. We are already placed in the perfect role to make these major changes in society so that women will have less to fear. Women will not have to experience sexual harrassment on a level anywhere near what is experienced today. Women will no longer receive less pay for the same amount (or more) work. We can destroy the glass ceiling. |
First we must join together to improve ourselves and to support one another. Every day - Every year: Train ourselves and train others so that the overwhelming prejudice that continues in full-force against women, will continue to be reduced and eventually will be eliminated.
